This is a call to action for each and every business leader on the Sunshine Coast! In fact, this is a call to action for each and every human on the Sunshine Coast.
Are you living your life with purpose and drive? Do you ever feel conflicted between how you need to act within your business or employment and your personal value set? Did 2020 make you wake up and think, my life needs to be different!
In partnership with the Sunshine Coast Council, the SCBWN is beyond thrilled to invite the Sunshine Coast to our much anticipated, November keynote event that places Sarah Wilson, former journalist and TV presenter, international author and activist, and the creator of the ‘I Quit Sugar’ empire, on stage to provide insights into the drive behind giving it all up as her business became too unhinged with her own personal values.
Sarah was previously the editor of Cosmopolitan Australia, host of Masterchef Australia and founder of the largest wellness website in Australia, IQuitSugar.com, before she closed the business in May 2018 and gave all money to charity. Sarah now builds and enables charity projects that “engage humans with each other” and campaigns on mental health and climate issues. Sarah is ranked as one of the top 200 most influential authors in the world and has just released her latest book ‘This One Wild and Precious Life’ in September, 2020.
Sarah joins us at the on Thursday, November 12th at the freshly ribbon-cut, NightQuarter venue. She will transform the way you think about values-based business and value-based decisions!
Gathered in the award-winning street food, night market and entertainment destination, NightQuarter is a unique blend of street food, community, and culture. With a spirit of shared experience and shared conversation, the shipping container urban playground is the perfect spot for our local business community to come together.
This event is open to all. So, tell your colleagues, your family, and your friends.
Whether you are male or female, start-up or corporate, a small business or large, we urge you to come along, check out this wonderous new food and entertainment venue on the Sunshine Coast, and be inspired to uncover and uphold your own personal values.
