SCBWN International Women's Day with Rebecca Gibney

We are proud to support the Sunshine Coast Business Women’s Network with their International Women’s Day Breakfast with Rebecca Gibney. Please find event description below:

Our past International Women’s Day celebrations with amazing guest speakers have been nothing short of inspirational and 2019 will be no exception. We are thrilled to announce that Award Winning Actress, Rebecca Gibney will be joining our International Women’s Day celebrations this year.

Rebecca Gibney is one of Australia’s most beloved and respected actresses and her world-class performances have earned her a Gold Logie Award and several Logie Award nominations.

Known for her role as Lola on Wanted, beloved mother, Julie Rafter on Packed To The Rafters and Emma Plimpton on Flying Doctors, her passion as an actress shines through in her portrayal of some of the most interesting women on Australian television.

Dedicated to a long-lasting career, Rebecca is no stranger to the struggles of working hard to reach your dreams. At our breakfast we will learn all about her career, how she has evolved in an ever-changing industry and how she celebrates her individuality.

Celebrating the IWD theme of 2019, Balance for Better, SCBWN is excited to embrace a better working world driven by balance. From activism to worldwide action, we are entering an exciting period of history where the world expects balance. We have noticed its absence and celebrate its presence.

The race is on for gender-balanced boardrooms, gender-balanced government, gender-balanced media coverage, gender-balanced of employees and gender-balance in wealth. Together we can help build a gender-balanced world.

The Sunshine Coast Business Women's Network invites women and men across the region to join us in this celebration of balance.
