A magical evening with LifeFlight

At the end of last month, we were chosen to be part of bringing to life a magical evening that we won't ever forget. On Saturday March 27th, the whole of the Sunshine Coast dressed in their best and headed to the Sunshine Coast Convention Centre to be an absolutely integral part of the 2021 LifeFlight Champagne Diamond Gala Dinner.

LifeFlight set out to make this gala a celebration of the Sunshine Coast, their amazing services, and their brave past patients. Of course, there was fundraising components to the night, but beyond that they wanted to fill the room with their amazing supporters and the Sunshine Coast community, thanking them for seeing them through COVID - especially after their 2020 fundraising event was cancelled only 3 weeks beforehand.

In saying that, by the end of the night they had raised more than $140,000!

Our directive was to create a WOW factor environment, develop a RunSheet that incorporated all of the important components of the night but in an audience friendly and exciting delivery. We were put in charge of making sure that everything ran seamlessly and every single guest had a great night after a challenging 12 months.

The LifeFlight event team had already taken care of the standard event components, we were tasked with applying our magic to the RunSheet and the room, not to mention a completely professional registration process with over 500 people that met extremely strict guidelines which LifeFlight must adhere to.

Our most magical moments of the night was the goose bumps we all felt when the LifeFlight crew stood up and was applauded for their incredible bravery, 12-year-old Connor's rescue story, policewoman Ella's rescue story, the power duo Connor and Zumbo raising a whopping $40,000 from one auction item, and of course reconnecting with the faces of the Sunshine Coast after it being so long since we were in a room filled with so many people.

As always we loved working with the hilarious MC's of the night, Sam and Ash, AV Partners, Jason Hay, the Sunshine Coast Convention Centre, and lucky last Mandy and the incredible LifeFlight team.
